For 26 Years He’s Given Us His Heart.  Now, Let’s Lend Him Our Hand.

Support Magen La’Choleh. Save Rabbi Binyamin Fisher’s Life’s Work.

Throughout 26 years of nonstop activity and chessed, Rabbi Binyamin Fisher, founder and director of Magen La’Choleh, has revolutionized the concept of medical referrals and counseling. Magen La’Choleh was founded at the urging of Rabbi Fisher’s spiritual mentor Hagaon Harav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, zt”l, and was the very first organization to offer direct assistance and support to patients and their families in and out of the hospital; personal accompaniment and guidance from the moment of diagnosis and until recovery; unbiased medical referrals; and no less important, emotional support and encouragement.

Four hundred and fifty calls flood the office on a daily basis, all with urgent requests to speak to Rabbi Fisher and consult with him on a wide range of medical issues. Rabbi Fisher meets weekly with some 90 doctors and is regular contact with dozens of hospitals in Israel and around the world.

Magen La’Choleh encompasses special departments for oncology patients and mental health patients, and arranges free medical equipment and medical transport for patients and preemies, among others.

Today, after 26 years, Magen La’Choleh is appealing to YOU for help!

26 years of selfless service to the Klal. 12 months a year. 365 days a year. 24 hours a day. Shabbos and Yom Tov. Throughout all this time, Magen La’Choleh has offered generous, gracious assistance to every caller, supporting and facilitating patients in all situations—from those in need of emergency, life-saving care to the mentally and emotionally ill.

After all this time of tireless giving to Klal Yisrael, Magen La’Choleh needs us.

It’s time for us to give back!

In the last years, Magen La’Choleh has suffered several financial setbacks to the point that it is now in severe financial crisis. Unless we act urgently to get the organization back on its feet, Rabbi Fisher will have no choice but to close it and cease all activities immediately. If this happens, thousands of patients and family members who benefit from Magen La’Choleh’s wealth of services will be left on their own, abandoned without the desperately-needed support that they’ve come to rely on.

Let’s join forces to save Rabbi Fisher’s life work!

For 26 years, he’s given his heart and soul, his days and nights, to Klal Yisrael’s ill and unfortunate.

Now, Rabbi Fisher is turning to each and every one of us with a heartfelt request to please open our hands and hearts and lend our support to the organization that’s rescued thousands of lives, so he can continue helping patients around the world—now and in the future!

With Rosh Hashanah just around the corner, partner with Magen La’Choleh and acquire the zechuyos of saving Jewish lives!
