Amit, 17, is coping alone with a difficult family situation. He is now attending his third boarding school and feels he has no chance of success whatsoever. Lior, only 13, has been on the street for a few weeks now, not attending any kind of formal program and totally lacking a guiding hand. He too doubts his ability to accomplish anything worthwhile.

For over 30 years, Beit Haggai Youth Village has taken on a challenging national, educational and social mission, opening its gates and its heart to disadvantaged youth, believing that every youngster deserves an opportunity for success, love and support.

The village operates according to a unique Family Model: Specially-trained couples with children each take in about ten youngsters aged 13-18, living under one roof as a family in a spacious home. This method imparts a home-like, family atmosphere, even among youngsters who have never experienced it before.

Hundreds of young men have attended Beit Haggai Youth Village since its establishment and continue to live meaningful lives, performing significant military service and advancing towards a promising future, in which they will raise marvelous families and play an active role in Israeli society.

We progress slowly but consistently: One young man, then another; one family, then another.
