Open your heart to mothers and children

It is possible to turn a blind eye, but we must look reality in the eye.

The sad reality of hundreds of women who live a life of suffering, pain and fear. Everyone who heard their story pushed them to put an end to it. "If not for you for the children" they were told, but when they made the right decision, they were left to make it on their own.

Alone on Shabbat and Chagim, alone in the face of life's challenges and alone with the pain of children who feel different.

They live amongst us in the neighborhood and in the schools but they live in limbo and severe loneliness

Divorced mothers with children have to deal with many fronts simultaneously; Social, economic, educational, mental and more. Their children also experience difficulties as they do not feel like "normal" children.

The Eim HaBanim organization provides both mothers and children with a full support system that allows them to cope, easing the burden.

At Eim HaBanim we care for close to 500 mothers of children who were forced to dismantle their homes and found themselves without support from family and community. Women who were forced as a last resort to take their children and open a new chapter in life, finding themselves alone in the world.

Without stable income (often even no alimony), no family and community support, no attentive ear and no shoulder to lean on.

And with children.

Children who have to deal with shaming and difficulties, without someone to understand them, to guide them, to be there for them like the other children in the classroom and in the Shul.

Eim Habanim is there for them. We support the mothers economically and socially, accompanying the children in all educational and psychological aspects required, so that they can grow and develop. We prevent them from moving in a downward spiral to the fringes of society.

Eim Habanim provides these families with a solution in the form of a supportive family

This is not a Gevallt campaign. This is not a melodramatic plea. This is a heart to heart honest request to help women and children in a complex situation that they will not be able to get through without us reaching out to them. Without opening our hearts to them.
