We are 16 first year Med-School students at Ben-Gurion University who decided to run and raise money for the “Save a Child’s Heart” organisation.
The “Mountain to Valley" run (at the 18th of May) is a relay race at the length of 215 km, at day and at night, starting from the Galilee Hills and finishing at the Jezreal Valley.
SACH is an Israeli-based international, non-profit organisation, known worldwide for their commitment to saving lives by improving the quality of cardiac care for children from developing countries and creating centers of medical competence in these countries.
SACH provides surgeries for children around the world who wouldn’t survive without these life-saving procedures. Since their establishment, SACH treated over 4000 children from 55 different countries around the world, mostly from the Middle East and Africa. Through this organizations, a special cardiac care unit at Wolfson was established, also benefiting Israeli children!
The impact of SACH worldwide is great, as lots of positive media coverage is generated, for SACH and for Israel.
